This kit allows the relocation of the diverter valve to the cold side of the intercooler on transverse engines as found in the 150-180hp VW Golf GTI, Jetta, GLI, Seat Leon (not Ibiza), Skoda Octavia and Audi A3, and TT 1.8T. Kit includes all necessary installation hardware and hoses as pictured.

By relocating the valve in this way there are two benefits. First, due to operating in lower temperatures the longevity of the valve is increased. Second, after relocation, the air that is recirculated into the intake tract to the turbo will be cooler. Cooler air has a greater density. The greater the density of the charge mix in the cylinder the more power generated on combustion. Recommended to use in conjunction with FMSH159.
