The comparison graph pictured on a 180 TT shows the additional cooling after installing the Forge FMIC compared with the OEM unit. Intake air temperature has a direct effect on bhp. In the above graph at 6000 rpm the Forge front mount intercooler reduces the intake temp further from 208 degrees to 126 degrees. This equates to taking it from a 176 bhp to 190 bhp approx or a gain of 14 bhp. Of course this is hypothetical, but rolling road results indicated gains between 10 and 18 bhp on different runs.
