If you are building extra power or want a more solid drivetrain, motor and transmission mounts are the first thing to upgrade. With stiffer mounting points for your engine and transmission, you will experience less wheel hop and chatter or engine vibration. The harder mounts are perfect for horsepower building applications and will keep everything more solid when serious torque is applied.

Powerflex has developed polyurethane inserts for the Mk4 "dogbone" transmission mounts. These bushings replace the soft and worn factory rubber pieces in a matter of minutes, and will provide noticeable improvement in rigidity. This in turn improves throttle response and provides more positive shifting feel.
